I have a 1992 Mercruiser Inboard. S/N is 0D624015 it is a non high performance engine. According to mercruiser website and parts catalog it is service manual #15 p/n 816463. I have tried to find this as it is particular to my engine. i do not mind paying for one as long as it doesn't cost 2 fuel tanks and a bilge pump. Prefer to a friend loan me one if possible.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Only place I found it at no cost is boatinfo. Appears you have a ski boat. For the most part manual 17 will be able to provide you with most everything you may need unless there are some things outside of the norm

Not a ski boat but and offshore boat. It is a direct drive Mako 236 1982 model. Motor has been in it since I purchased it and the only thing I have had to do is rebuild the bottom end. Thanks to my buddy at the mercury dealership it only cost $260 to rebuild bottom end...

What kind of info are you trying to get from manual 15

a couple of things.

I just recently rebuilt my carb and I have different opinions on how to properly set it up.
Ex: IA screws 1 to 1 1/2 turns out, 3 to 5 turns out

Things of that nature.

from gently seated to 5 turns, start at 1 1/2 . if it dosent idle ,open it to 3 1/2, etc. You want the smoothest idle . turn it out till it runs rough, turn it in until it runs rough
split the difference in the rich side.spark plugs are cheaper than pistons
