Hey guys. I recently (about 3 weeks ago) posted in the inflatables section concerning the quality of fishing rafts. Well, I found one! And it's great! The Intex Mariner 4. Took it out over the weekend, and it was everything I hoped for.
That said -- I'm hungry for some fish. We rowed around for a few hours and would drop lines here and there, but it was difficult fishing blind. I've benefited from fish finders in the past on my girlfriend's father's boat, and now I'm looking into one of my own. Since I don't have a trolling motor, and won't be investing in one for a while, I'm looking for an inexpensive portable fishfinder that (preferably) runs on household batteries. I know Norcross makes one (F33P), as well as Pro-Angler (JB4293), but I'm once again deferring to the advice of this forum. It worked so well last time, thought I'd try again!
I'm really not looking to spend more than $100 (the lower the better!), and that's mostly because once I get a trolling motor, I'll have the 12V battery and will probably upgrade my fishfinder then. So right now I'm just looking for something that shows me where the fish are -- nothing fancy.
Thanks for the assistance, guys.
