Is there anywhere on this blog that I might could find a used 15 inch galvanized wheel for my 96 Escort trailer? Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
I got a spare for my trailer from a boat junkyard. Came with a tire. $15. But new ones are so cheap now, seems hardly worth messing with getting a wheel mailed to you.
Thank you all. You have given me some places to look. As far as Ebay goes. I know I have looked there many times and never could find just a wheel. Always a wheel with tire. I guess I was looking in the wrong place 90stingray.
Personally think you would be better off with a new one. Not really that much more expensive. My motto is that your spare should be in as good or better shape than what is on the trailer.
Just my thoughts though.
I agree kenmyfam. I think the tire should be new but my trailer is a 1996 and a used rim will work for me. The one on ebay is by far the best deal for a new rim. Looks like I will pick it up and then I will be set. Thanks again for everybody's input.
