i have a little 2hp "thruster" made by mercury. Im not sure if this motor ever saw the American market.
Im trying to find an impeller for it, the motor is not that old which is why i was surprised when my local dealer said the impeller is no longer available.
Anyhow the part number is 47-832475 and i am hoping you all may know of a shop where i could get an aftermarket impeller or even a genuine.

thanks
Peter

Re: looking for an impeller.

Hi Peter,

Yes, this engine was 'export only' and not available in USA...

As these are not 'Merc' engine, probably something like a Tohatsu, I would start trying those dealers.

Do you have the serial number of the engine and I'll see what I can find...

Chris......

no numbers or identification anywhere on the motor. I used mercs EPC to find it (which obviously wasnt hard as it is first on the list.)
Thankyou very much for the links they are indeed the part i need, I have emailed the Hungarian dealer both in English and Hungarian. I would still much rather find an english speaking dealer, maybe in the UK somewhere ?

I've had a look around and neither GLM nor Sierra do an impeller for these engines... Sorry Peter...

Re: looking for an impeller.

youve got to hand it to those hungarians.
I was still having issues sending the money so they decided in the spirit of the christmas season to send the impeller free of charge!

they only had one in stock and im servicing this motor as a favour so hopefully ill never see it again.
