I have a Johnson 9.9 outboard motor Seahorse motor 1970's and am looking for coils and/or a condesor for the motor. Has no spark. Also looking for a service manual for it. Any suggestions are welcome! Bobby

Bobbyo, Be sure your kill switch(if any) is not shorted.<br /> Try NAPA for your parts.They have a 600 page Marine products catalog.With 87 pages of E/J parts.

Spike..thanks for writing me. I will check into it this weekend. I appreciate the advice. I do intend on getting a manual but just got the motor and I AM a diesel mechanic but for Ford Motor company and was hoping I could fix it or get it fixed without having to wait to find a manual.

Ebay is a great place to find these new and used. I just purchased pair of coils,points and condencers for $55.00. {New) Also try www.aomci.org/<br />The have lots of good sorces.
