hey guys and gals,
I'm new to this forum, but not boats and or working on them. I bought a new (to me) boat with a 1990 115hp mercury on it. It had problems when I looked at it, I thought it needed a new top end on one of the cylinders...... Long story short I just about crapped my pants when I found out how much just rings and some bearings were going to cost. Does any one have a good place to get parts without giving up their next kid? Thanks in advanced for anyone's help!!!

Nothing's cheap. I remember 30 cents pack of cigarettes, 28 cent gas and new alternators for $19.99

This site carries aftermarket parts. What isn't covered by aftermarket parts are dealer items. No getting around parts costs. BTW the same $19.99 alternator is today $279.00 for my truck new. Wonder why?

Keep an eye on ebay. These parts do come up every now and then.
