looking for jack plate

have 150 hp 1986 evinrude. Am buying jack plate. Does anyone know if 13" top and 10" bottom bolt spacing sound right. Motor is in storage and I cant measure. Is 4 bolts to motor and 4 bolt to transom enough?

Todays jackplates use the same bolt pattern to mount the plate to the boat as the motor to the plate.

I was looking at a jack plate that had the above mentioned bolt holes. Is that right for my motor?

Yes, your motor uses the standard BIA / ABYC bolt pattern.

sounds normal
