having trouble with a quicksilver 3000 in a 1986 four winns with a 3.0 mercruiser. The auto stop (between forward and reverse) failed the o\ther day. i was a ble to repair that but now my throttle only button doesn't work. Also when pulling back to neautral from forward ....before the detent is reached i am in reverse. I think i can take care of the with a shift cable adjustment but the throttle thing is stumping me a little. i haven't had time to really get into it yet. Just thought that i would ask around a little and hopefully get a manual before going much further. the last thing is when in the detent postion the neutral safety doesn't allow the boat to crank. is the safety in the shifter or on the other end of the shift cable at the engine?
