Looking for origonal bimini fabric for Carver Montego 525

Thought I'd see if anyone has their origonal bimini top for a 525 Montego. I just need the fabric, not the frame. I'd like to replace my worn out top with another origonal so that I also have the option of adding an enclosure. Taking a stab in the dark!

PS- If anyone knows where I can find origonal Carver parts for a 91 Montego, that would help too! Thanks!

You can Google Sunbrella and get a hit for online retailers.

Or, check with Nashville Tent & Awning (615) 329-3701 or Crown Awning (615) 256-0485. They can possibly do the fabrication--if needed.

Thanks for the reply! I was hoping to find a place that has direct replacement parts for specific Carver models including Bimini fabric. If possible I'd like to be able to tell someone my year and model and have them ship me the exact top. I don't know if anywhere like this exists though.

I called Singleton, they gave me the number to a company that does replacement tops to Carver specs, I called the company and they told me they have never done tops for Carvers. Back to square one. Looking like I'll just have to have a canvas guy come to my boat and give me a quote. I was hoping to find a place that just had them pre-made.

Well, at least there are a number of sources in the Nashville area for tops.

Your boat is 20 years old, but is such a nice, timeless styling. There's just no telling how many boat models Carver has put out since your boat was new. I can see why they cannot stock parts for such an elaborate boat lineup.

The last time I was on Old Hickory was in the early 70's--when I left to go to college in Memphis. It's quite an interesting place to boat, with so many famous music people living on the water. I wonder if Barry Gibb has rebuilt the old Johnny Cash house since it burned?

Cash's house is going to remain just the foundation. There is not going to be anything else built at that location. I'm glad. It's neat to drive by his house and know Johnny and June lived there.
