Looking for parts for a 2001 Cobalt 262

Looking for a bow filler cushion for a 2001 Cobalt 262. I have all the others, just would like to get this one.
I am also looking for the bi-fold door for the cabin so we can use the boat late in the season as it gets colder.

For the cushion, an upholstery shop will probably be needed to make one for you.

For the door, try some marine salvage yards and they may have a cushion, too.

But something to consider - salvage yard soft parts like wood and upholstery are often way past the sell by date. Having the cushion made is maybe a better choice. Same for the door or possibly modify something from a Big Box store.

Thanks for the suggestions GA. I really want to find OEM parts, so that when I resell the boat to get a newer one, it has all the right things to keep the value up.
I have not been able to find boat salvage yards in my area, so I may have to go further out to find them. Again, thanks for responding.

Your local Cobalt dealer should be your contact to order what you need from Cobalt. It's possible that it is no longer
available, but a dealer can find out.

I did check with my local Cobalt dealer, as they were the ones that assisted me in getting the boat. They feel that because of the age of the boat, Cobalt would no longer have the parts. I will push them on it again and see if they can get the parts. Thanks for the bounce backs.

If they are not able to supply direct from Cobalt, a local shop can make one that fits easily. The challenge will be to find the same
brand and color of vinyl. Have your dealer ask Cobalt about what vinyl was originally used, and then your local shop can try
to find some to make your filler cushion.

You might try posting your request on a Cobalt Owners Forum, I assume there is one. Other owners of the same boat generally have encountered the same issues that you are now having and they can better tell you where to look, or someone may have one lying around not being used.

I have a 2002 262 purchased 2 years ago. I was interested in getting a bow & stern filler set if still available. My dealer contacted Cobalt over the winter and was informed that Cobalt no longer makes the filler sets. So only option on those is to go custom or find a used cushion.

As for the bow door, that would be relatively easy to make using starboard marine "lumber", and stainless steel hinges.
