I just bought an old pontoon with an '85 Johnson 50hp. I just purchased a water pump kit w/out the housing just for peace of mind. Can anyone tell me where the "pee hole" tube comes from? When I take the cowling off, I can see a 1" piece of hose attached to the "pee hole", however, it ends there. I can't find a loose hose anywhere and the engine isn't filling up with water. I am guess that the previous owner cut the hose and plugged it up. I would like to hook the hose back up so I can be sure the water pump is pumping good but don't know where to look for the rest of the hose. Please help.
