Looking for Real World Feedback on Evinrude ETEC

I'm interested in the 90HP ETEC to replace my aging Johnson carbureted 2-stroke. I have year 2001 OMC gauges and binnacle controls.<br /><br />Anyone have any real world expereiences with the ETECs? Reliability? Noise level? Fuel consumption? Will I be able to use my existing gauges and controls?
