Berkshire is built by Southbay which used to be Oddesey, the company is owned by Warren Buffet of Berkshire-Hathaway, hence the name.
All I can say is compare the boats side by side, construction, are things through bolted or screwed on, what type of brackets are used things like that and look at the warranty, what is and isn't covered and for how long and you will figure out which one you want.
Bershire is a fairly new brand and it is a smaller company so I don't know that you will find too many owners and trying to find an objective boat review is impossible since the boat mags get most of thier revenue from the boat companys, don't bite tha hand that feeds you you know.
There are alot of good boats out there so you have done good to have narrowed it down to 2.
