I'm refreshing a '87 Manatee 18 ft. cuddy. It has a Water Bonnet windshield with side vent (wing) windows. I'm looking to replace the adjuster arms with the original style. They were sold under the brand name "Stern Safe", model WB-11. I saw them online (ebay seller) about 2 years ago but didnt buy then, not knowing if I was keeping the boat or not.
I can't seem to find them anywhere now. Anybody have suggestions for me to try? Maybe there are some collecting dust at your local marina / ship store?
I've tried a pair of Taylor Made generic arms but they pivot the wrong way, 90* off, at the window. SeaDog and SeaSense adjusters look like they will have the same problem.
The fixed part, or base, mounts to the upright window frame channel on the ones I need, the generic replacements mount on the bottom horizontal frame channel.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks jbcurt, that's it! Unfortunately it shows they're out of stock. I'll call to see if they will restock. If anybody has other sources, please post, I'm afraid these may be out of production.
This forum is great!

I found them! Actually found the manufacturer, Stern Safe, Lynwood, IL, 708-758-0020. Their website is Stern Safe (it figures). They have parts for older Water Bonnet brand windshields; support arms, latches, bumpers, snaps, etc. They also have some bimini top mounts and prop and trailer hitch locks. They sell online or by phone, you don't need to be a dealer.
Check out their website if you need older windshield parts, their stuff can probably be fit to other brands.
Thanks for the help. Kal
