Ok, thinking about trading my sportscar for a newer boat. Looking mainly at bowriders and some cuddys but need advice on the better brands to look for. Who is woodless now and about what year did they go woodless? Anything good about Donzi boats? May have one of those available. I already have a 79 Glastron bowrider but my Camaro sits in the driveway and have lost motivation on it so thinking it might be a good way for a newer boat since the family enjoys it so much. Thanks everyone.

I'd be shocked if Donzi were woodless. I don't think they make a bowrider either. I know Bryant boats are woodless and have been for years. You'd have a tough time finding a better built bowrider too, they are exceptionally well put together. That said, wood, when properly used, is an excelent material for boat building. I would not let it's (proper) use keep me from buying a boat I liked.

Cobalt, Regal, Crownline and Chris Craft all make high quality bowriders, but I think Bryant makes them best. I own a Regal Cuddy.

I just worry about wood ones because of prior care. I would feel better if I could do a good complete inspection but not really that knowledgeble though. Will keep in mind the ones you mentioned though, and the Donzi is a cuddy but a great looking boat to me.
