Agreed no more than $1500.
Doesn't know the yr, but the boat is registered? Different north of the border than here?
Canvas questionable, bad snaps, cracking windows, seats need re-done.
Bought new electronic ignition parts (? sensor & module) but hasn't installed? Other new electrical ignition parts wires distrib stuff etc?
Often times that indicates running poorly, not running at all, or worse runs fine for a little while until underload & your out 2-3 miles then dies leaving you stuck. People often start with the simple cheap stuff cap, rotor, wires, then on to more expensive ignition when it's hard to diagnose. Often times it's a bad wire or wires somewhere also contributing to the problem. This can make for a long weekend of tracing back problem wires or connections.
Very frustrating.
Not saying it's a bad boat, only those are the things that jumped out at me.

Boats in Canada are notoriously more expensive than the equivalent boats here in the US. Here that would be a $1500 boat as was mentioned. They are good boats though for sure. Easily repaired and restored if necessary. The Merc 120 is a solid motor with good parts support. Make sure you head down to the Starcraft section of this site.
