Looking for stator 88 force 50

was just wondering if anyone had a good working stator for an 1988-D Force 50 . the correct part number is 176-3095.It should have to yellow lead wires,a
> brown/blue wire,a brown/blue/black wire,brown/yellow/black wire and
> yellow/brown. if anyone can help me would be much appreciated..

Mercury give a part number of 300-888793 as the correct stator for your motor. Is the part number you gave for a black one or a red one? Mercury had a problem with black stators and switched to red ones. The part number above cost $381.35 and can be purchased from Mercury

i actually have 2 bad ones off of mine and another one that burnt out, there neither black or red they r the bare wired ones the part number on both of em is 176-3095, the both fit they just dont work,the cheapest one i saw was on outboardignition.com for 138 bucks.i dont know but thanks...
