So far, everyone who "carries" it is out of stock. Haven't found one yet. Mind is rusted to bits. it's a '65 40 HP Johson. RK 27A. Anyone know where I can get one?
There must be 20 US dealers that show stock on this part (new) Contact any Evinrude dealer and have them go onto their Dealerport system and give you the name of your local dealer that has one in stock.

Got it .. thanks, and will do! Just rebuilt the carb, and now I find the motor (which has been sitting for about 3 years) is seized. I'd better take care of that before I start spending money on parts. Ugh.
Always evaluate the condition of these older motors before spending any money.---Remove bypass covers and have a look at the pistons.-Look for corrosion in the crankcase that way too.
