Looking into first boat

Hey Everyone
New to the board and shopping for first boat. Currently I am looking at a 97 VIP Victory.(pics below) I know it has a 302 i/o. I was wondering if 6500 is a good price for this boat and if anyone here could tell me if it really is a 97. It looks older(even though it is in great shape). Any feed back would be appreciated. Also if there are any recommendations for a wakeboard tower for this boat I would like to have them.

Nice looking boat! I just purchased a 1997 VIP 1886 SBR Vision this spring. Anyway, paid $6400 for mine. You can tell the year by checking the HIN (should be on stern port side up close to the rub rail). The last two digits of your HIN is the year of your boat.
