As the other post said, lots of choices. But for shopping purposes you could use this as a benchmark - Stingray

Kelly Cook

Mondula:
I can't pull up the picture you attached so I don't know what you are aluding to. My $ .02 is don't skimp on power. You can get into alot of well made 19' with the kind of money you are talking about or in the 22' range for a 2 or 3 year old Chaparral, Crowline, or Searay. But 19' I would go for the mercruser 5.0 liter. Keep in mind what you intend to tow with. A well made boat in the 19' range with trailer and gear will weight out about 4,000 - 5,000lbs add another 1,000lbs to be safe for a 22'-24'.

My suggestion would be to go to the ramp where you'll usually be putting yout boat in and get an idea of the kind of boats most people are using. One or two will catch your eye and the owners are usually happy to talk about their boats [after they get it on the trailer and secured, of course]. For $26K. you should be able to get an excellent boat.

I have two boats right now, selling one of them. It is not new, but as close to new condition as you can get. 23.5 foot 1998 Checkmate, 454 MPI, 70 MPH, 76 hours, many extras. Fun, fish, fast, you name it. If you want pictures, and are serious, call me at (231) 409-2643. Nada blue book is $32,000, not including the $2,000 stereo, I want about what you are looking to spend.
