Looking to buy a new glastron need advice...

I put money down on a 2010 gt 215 deckboat with a 5.0gxi volvo penta they say is 270hp...

I went to other dealers and a sea ray dealer tells me that I should buy his 200 sundeck for more money because the glastron will "Ride like total crap in choppy water"...Then he says the Glastron is a tri hull not a V like the sea ray, and we will hate how it rides...

I have an 18' bayliner bowrider now from 1988 and its the only boat I have ever owned...

Does anyone have experience with this boat, or something similar??? And also will a 2004 1/2 ton Silverado that's rated for 7000# do ok pulling a boat that's 3600# with a 1100# trailer + Gas and some gear? I know that the numbers are ok, i'm just looking for an opinion from someone with real world experience.

A little update if anyone cares...We took the boat from the dealership to the lake yesterday(about 38 miles) with my truck...my 4.8 v8 in my silverado(with a few modifications) pulled the boat no problem..The test drive went really well also...So we are now the proud owners of a 2010 glastron 215 GT deckboat...

Here are some Pics of the boat at the dealership...If anyone is in the phoenix area and looking for a boat I can absolutely recommend these guys....5 star service from start to finish...I am a royal pain in the butt when I am the customer and they accommodated everything I asked for...

Kinda weird for a deck boat i'm sure but the boat gets measured for a wake tower soonish that will be powder coated black, and rear mounted that follows the lines of the bimini top...

I have a GX185 and it IS a bee-yotch on rough water. Smaller and lighter boat, though, so that may be the bulk of the problem.

Otherwise, we LOVE it. Bought it with 180 hrs on it last summer and have nothing but good times with it. I went over it with a fine toothed comb, and the deeper I look, the better this boat appears, inside, outside, and engine-wise. Except for the missing chunk of G on both side decals...

Here is a pic after we installed the full bimini top, which can be used full open or just the front half.
