Yup, not enough to go on, what year engine, also where are you, boat prices fluctuate alot depending on where you are in the country.

I'd start with the boat classifieds in your area and see what similar boats are going for.

Re: looking to buy

I,m from pa. Boat is in fair condition captain seat has small tear. Rest of boat not real bad for a 2004 It,s 20ft. Long with single axle trailer has full cover. Motor is same year as boat. I,m not sure but thinking in the range of 4500.00 to 6500.00 let me know what you think. Does need new prop. Motor is oil injected and has 20 gallon fuel tank on it

if the motor is in good shape (needs a new prop) why?? and you can get into it for under 10k, grab it. My guess is it will go for at least 12

Re: looking to buy

Is it too cool to do a water test up there? If so, then you need a mechanic to sign off on the engine.

I think your range is about right. You should start out at the low end and do lots of bargaining in an attempt to stay at the low end.
Good luck and let us know.

Re: looking to buy

Can't imagine an '04 Tuscany going for $6500, at least not around here, and boats in the secondary market seem to trade relatively cheap in my neck of the woods. Pretty sure that's one of Godfrey's upper eschelon rigs. The fact that it's only 20' impacts the resale value to a certain extent, but assuming she's in good condition other than the issues mentioned my estimate would be closer to ralph's. However, that doesn't mean you can't offer him what you're willing to pay. After all, the worst he can do is say no. If he doesn't, or doesn't counter, I'd look really hard at it before consumating the deal.
