We're thinking about selling our 1973 Aristocraft Nineteen with a 165 hp. Engine runs great. Lower unit in excellent condition. Exterior is in good condition. Interior needs some work. Boat comes with trailer.

Any idea of the value of this boat?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

no idea. maybe a pic or three...

Interior needs some work
that i think would be a downside. from talkin with Scott. i believe i've heard him say that much of the value in a nineteen is in the interior. think he told me to do anything possible to save it if it's original...

i google nineteens often. just to see what's out there. i've seen them from $300 up to around $5k on the high side. $1500-$3k being about average... wouldn't surprise me if perhaps a little more for a nineteen in real good shape not modified from the oem...

i also think that perhaps this economy is bringing the price of boats down just a little. so i'd think that might need to be considered too...

good luck...

Re: Looking to sale...

NADA website shows the value at around $2300 with the 6 Cylinder model. This does not include the value of the trailer typically but that should give you a good starting figure if someone were to "blue book" your offering price. From there it is a function of how much of it is original especially the seat coverings. Just a suggestion but I would put a link to the Aristocraft OEM website for people to learn more about the boat aristocraftboats.com Learning more about the boats construction and features and collectibility is what convinced me to buy a "project boat".

maybe a pic or three...

I second Ziggy though it would be nice to see some decent photos of the boat to give a better estimate.

Check out the link in the vinyl paint (?) post that will give you all the craigslist ads and it will help you establish a value.

Right now mine is pretty priceless.
