Hi and thanks for reading my post...I have always been a Johnson /Evinrude man but recently acquired my first Mercury. Trouble is I only have a Clymers for the Johnson /Evinrude models. Is there some kind soul in the opposite position who would'nt mind trading me manuals? I have the shop manual for the 48-235 HP 1973-1990 YR....Am looking for the same for a Merc, or anything covering 50 HP 4 CYL Early eighties Mercs....I have'nt had time to check the serial number for the exact year but pretty sure it is Early Eighties. An E-mail is OK too if need be.
