Hey Guys,
I currently have a Magic Tilt Galvanized trailer under my 20ft cc Angler.
I would like to stay with the single axle configuration but switch to aluminum.
I'm in the Safety Harbor , FL area. Any and all advice/suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

An aluminum trailer around salt water? I might rethink that one...

Are you serious?

Aluminum trailers are fantastic for salt water...........not to mention the huge weight savings

+1, much better than galvanized and as said, a lot less weight.

Make sure it's an I-beam construction, doesn't look as slick but easier to check everything and the wires are accessible. I would recommend that you test a tandem at that boat size before you make the final decision. They are build for less tongue weight which helps a lot if your tow vehicle isn't the largest. They also track better if they are build right. Sure, a bit more effort to turn them and 4 tires to replace after 4-6 years.

No Title

Thanks for the input guys.
I found a nice 2005 all aluminum with new springs and hubs and tongue. Single axle 3500lb Magic Tilt. Pretty much what it came with but aluminum.
$850. I think I got a good deal. As a bonus...I recently put new wheels and tires on mine and they are the exact same on the new one. Two spares.
Now I gotta make it fit...but that should be a new thread.
Thanks again.
Dave
