looper or not

I have an '88 OMC 2 ltr 140 hp Seadrive, long shaft.<br /><br />How do I tell if its a "looper" or not?<br /><br />Thanks.

All 2 liter V4 E/J motors are loopers. So, yes it is a looper. Great motor.
