Loose driveshaft?

I have a 1999 Johnson 90 HP here, model J90PLEEB. I took the lower unit down today and the driveshaft is really loose, almost to the point of what I'd call wobbly. Is this standard or is something toasted that needs to be replaced? There was no water or metal in the case, but the driveshaft still concerned me so I thought I'd ask.

You have a two piece driveshaft ... what you're seeing is likely normal.
