Just bought a used boat and the throttle control lever is, for a lack of a better term, jiggly. A good amount of movement front/back and side to side, but manages to control the throttle just fine. I noticed the set screw at the bottom of the handle was missing, so I put a new one in nice and tight, but it still jiggles all over. I can push the area around the throttle button into the side of the boat, and it feels like it tightens up, but after operating it again, it goes right back to the jiggle.
