Bad plug wire,
bad ground on ignition board,
bad, coil,
bad connection on any or the wires.
bad cd unit or switchbox.
It would help to know the year, model number, serial number, as the 90 hp Force had at least 4 different ignition systems between 1990 and 1996.
Person experience leads me to believe the trigger and stator are probably ok.
If you don't know the model #, post photos of the ignition system and fuel pump.
