LOST KEY

Lost the key to 99 Evinrude 30hp (ignition key) do I have to replace the whole ignition or can I buy a replacement key.

The ignition switch has a code somewhere. Take the code to a dealer for a replacement.

and if that fails take in the switch, sometimes other key codes will work as well!

I think there are only 7 or so keys that fit your ignition.Are you in central Ma. ? If so drive on by and we'll try our keys and find which one you need.
