somehow i magically can't reach top speed anymore.
boat starts normal and idols fine, at WOT i'm running 4300 rpm's which has always been the norm and would top out at about 42mph. right now i can't get it over 32mph and it fills like im dragging something. carb was rebuilt in early summer. i might have got some bad gas that BP Whiting refinery put out in NW Indiana. right now is 3/4 filled with permium and a bottle of seafoam. i removed the water fuel seperation filter and cleaned it out as directed by by local marine shop, seems to be a little better than the last time i took boat out. ran it for about 40 minutes today trying to work new fuel threw the system. does anyone have any idea? other than loss of top speed everything else seems normal.
