(rant coming) We got another 7 inches of snow last night (uhg). I awake to a banging noise, assuming it's one of my kids in the kitchen or something I go downstairs in my boxers to see what's up. To my surprise I find my neighbor's plow guy stuck in my yard. His back wheels are up over my rock retaining wall and he's dumping the 3/4 chevy in and out of reverse trying to get unstuck, black rooster tails of dirt flying up like a tourney bass boat racing to weigh in.
When he finally gets out he high tails it out of there. In hind sight I should have gone out and confronted him in the act. I'll give the guy a day or two to make good as I'm sympathetic to the fact he was probably up all night plowing and had 1000 other houses to get to but I'm sure I'll never hear from him and have to try to hunt him down.
I took a quick look on my way to work and from what I can see under the new snow the rock wall is a mess.
Here's the odd thing, in the last two and a half months I've had to deal with:
A: This incident
B: The utility company driving on my property and causing damage - separate thread on here about that, have yet to hear back from them on how they're going to remedy that, and
C: My wife's car got hit by a snow plow, $2500 in damage, took a month to get the money.
Geeez, is it summer yet  Thanks for letting me rant.
