low 2 cycle siezed 74 johnson

I have a friend of a friend who has a 74 johnson 70hp who siezed up has motor on the river from running a low 2 cycle level. He wants 100 dollars for the siezed motor and a the trailer the boats on.What are the chances this motor can run again without a complete rebuild .At worst the trailer hubs and spindles are worth 100 bucks.

Joe,<br /><br />It will need, most likely, everything.<br /><br />If the crankshaft is OK, you can figure $2-300.00 per cylinder, if you do the work yourself.<br /><br />That is a conservative estimate.
