Low Freeboard Boat Fenders?

Hey everyone. Well, here is the story, we rafted up with a couple other boats this past weekend for the first time and I was not happy with my fenders. I have pretty low freeboard so it was hard to get the fenders adjusted right to do a good job. So I have been searching and found these:

Anyone have any experience with them? Do they work as advertised? The down side I see is the space to store them, other than that they look like they might be pretty good.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Blue Crabber, I have seen that type of fender used but I haven't used them myself. I don't see why they wouldn?t work. I have used the flat type before on boats with low freeboard. Man fenders can get expensive but so can gel coat repair Good luck.

I purchases one of those myself for use on my boat when docking and going through our lock system here in Seattle. Seems to fit just right on my trial fit.

Thanks guys. I didn't see a reason why they wouldn't work, just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with them before I shelled out all the money for them.

I think I will order two of them and try them out. If I like them, then maybe I will get a couple more.

Thanks again!

I am in a classic speedboat club & most members use them,

will try to get some more photos with boats at jetties.
