Looking at a very well taken care of 1995 Mariah 212 with a 350 Mag in it. It has 345 hours. That seems to be fairly reasonable. Am I correct? IT has been regularing serviced.

The very best mechanical inspection you can do is a good hard test run. Insist on 3/4 power for at least ten minutes. Run it up to WOT to make sure it can reach the recommended RPM but you don't need to stay there long. If nothing leaks, smokes, rattles or overheats you're probably fine. Check the oil and coolant levels before and after, too. The hours aren't really that surprising. Most people use their boats far less than they intend to. Good luck, that sounds like a fun boat.
