Low Pressure Fuel Pump Gas level when motor running question

I have a 2003 Honda 200 hp fuel injected motor. Should the bowl containing the low pressure fuel filter always be full of gas?

Some never get full like that. Are you having running issues? If not its fine.

yes motor bogs out after running it for a a couple minutes. Trolls and idles fine though

Have you changed the fuel filters on the motor? There a couple of them.

The high pressure filter can plug up and restrict the fuel flow higher RPM's, this can also damage the high pressure pump. The filter is supposed to be changed at 500 hours, but it's not uncommon for it to need changing much sooner
