Hmm, well after alot of work my 4.1 165hp L6 is running great, no misses, makes a nice holeshot and idles beautifully. However, I can't seem to figure out why it won't reach WOT rpm.
At full throttle she is only turning about 3800 rpms and no higher. I've checked the fuel system and everything is pumping clean.
The carb is fully opened when the helm is at wide open as well.
Also when I am at 3800 and cruising it runs very nicely, no misses or anything or the sort.
Any ideas why im coming up 500 rpm shy would be greatly appreciated.
