Low speed mixture knob - 1970s 6hp Evinrude Fisherman

Last summer our small boat got knocked around in a bad thunderstorm & somehow the round white plastic "Low speed mixture" adjustment knob on the front of the engine got knocked off & lost. Has anyone found a source for these knobs, or something that fits well on the small metal shaft that works as a substitute for the knob (besides plyers and vice-grips !! lol) Thanks alot.
