lower crankshaft end cap seal

Hello again, having trouble getting a new end cap for lower crankshaft with SEAL in it, not sure I can get even the O type ring that goes in the endcap. Can I just replace end cap seal with a O ring and reuese end cap on lower crankshaft??? Thanks for your comments and or directions

If you're talking abou the seal that surrounds the crankshaft, can't you just get a new one of those and drive it in?<br /><br />What was the serial number and HP of that little feller again?<br /><br />-W<br /><br />-W

we are going to use the same end cap with a new o-ring. (Mercury)-said they don't make this part anymore, so we will re-use our old one with a new seal.
