Ok so I have a 1983 115 Johnson j115tlcte that is leaking at the shift rod but I can't seem to find what seal I need on the parts break down on marineengine.com. I see the spacer and a exhaust housing grommet but no seal. Anyone been into this and know what seal I need? I already have the water pump repair kit and seals for all that Witch included the exhaust housing grommet.

The shift rod cover has an o-ring inside it.----Easy to replace and you will need a new gasket for that cover as well.

I am sure it is shown as item # 25 but just in case your diagram is wrong , look it up for any other model year V-4 and V-6 from 1980 to 1990.
