lower end grease

Hello guys, Does anyone know if a 1964 mcculloch 14.1 hp uses grease or oil in the lower end , if grease should I put lubriplate 105 in it?

Hello everyone I goofed up on my 64 mcculloch 14 hp, I am new to tinkering with these out boards. I took the bottom piece by the propeller off of the lower unit where the forward and rev. gears are to replace the gasket to make sure that it is water tight and a two piece brass bushing fell out where the top gear is . My question is do I have to put this back in a special way so it will not fall back out again and is this suppose to be a two piece bushing or is it broken.

It uses outboard gear lube.You might ask at "ask the scott guy" about your bushings.
