I have a 1988 25HP Evinrude....<br />I bought the motor used so I had to do variuos repairs to it including replacing the prop shaft seals because I was getting a heavy oil leak.<br />I verified the repair and there was no leaks for several months.... I had to transport the motor a week ago and ever since then the lower end has been leaking, I had the motor in the back of my vehicle and it was laying on it's side and resting on the prop.... could this have ruined the seals?? I though that a bit of oil may have gotten past the seals during the actual time it was resting on the prop so I took off the prop and cleaned away any oil, but now it's starting to form around the bottom of the prop again.....Not much oil maybe one drip a day.<br />Thanks for any help....
