lower unit 69 105hp

I bought this lower unit from a 79. Seems about 4" longer than my current 2 piece lower end. Is this the "long version" for my motor or will this not fit mine?<br />

<br />I havent torn it down yet but I'll probably replace all the seals and pump to start.

I believe the driveshaft is different and the alignment of the bolt holes.<br /><br />TMD

are any of the internals interchangable or should I just rebuild it and sell it on ebay?
