lower unit drain plug washer

i noticed last year the washer/gaskets on the drain and vent screws are weathered. they seem to be made out of a composite material. where can i get replacements or any idea on part numbers?

Any Merc. dealer will have them. Grab a bunch of them to have on hand. Best to replace them each time you drain and refill the lower unit...They are available online also. Search: Mercury Marine Gearcase Drain Screw on google....

You might have trouble finding the composite washers at some places, most seem to be stocking "O" ring type, which will work.
