Lower unit gear lube quality

Regarding Pennzoil 80w90 Marine grade gear lube. I have a 1976 25 hp 2 stroke Johnson, a 1997 75 hp 2 stroke Mercury and a 1982 10 hp Honda 4 stroke. Is quality OK for these lower units? General maintenance time.

I wouldnt hesitate to use it in any of the above mentioned motors myself.

Don't know about the merc or the honda, but it's OK for the Johnson. Do you have any manuals for the merc or honda that might help you?
