I'll try to explain briefly...
1999 200EFI
I was running down the lake and suddenly the motor quit pulling, came off plane and then stalled. The motor would start back up but wouldn't go in gear then would shortly stall again. When the boat intially came off plane I could hear a clacking sound (guessing a busted gear). My question is what normally goes out in the unit, cost of repair and best route to take (refurbished, used or rebuild)? Thanks in advance for any much needed insight.
