Lower unit interchange for 76 115 evinrude

Sorry but i cant find my answer anywhere.What lower gear cases will work as a replacement for my 1976 evinrude 115 horse? serial #115699g.I know its a hydraulic/mechanical shift .i guess what i really wanna know is if other hp evinrudes in that year will work?does it have to be exazctly a 76 115 lower?thanks for any info,im looking online for possible replacements to have as spares..

All those model #'s in the above list are the same as far as the lower units are concerned.------The 73 / 74 / 75 / 76 model V-4 motors all used those lower units.----Now the 135 models may have a slightly different gear ratio but they fit.---Those lower units are easy to find in my area.

Yeah, the 85 and 115 had a 26:13 ratio while the 135 had a 25:13 ratio
