thanks for the reply Frank , castings are not quite the same, although they bolt up the same....the plate below the water pump is different, as well as the casting from that point south.....I have the benefit of being able to see the two units side by side....only diff I can see may be in the exhaust... not sure if it will make any difference though..I was hoping maybe someone had a source to check if they were interchangeable... I will post some pics as soon as I can figure out how to here...you will see why I am wondering about it...the main reason I want to know is: should I keep it as a spare (nothing wrong with it) , or sell it
