Lower unit leaking water from where lower unit meets motor?

I have a 2001 Mercury 90hp 2 stroke outboard that I just replaced seals and water pump on. I was running it with ear muffs and noticed a little bit of water leaking out of where lower unit meets up With the motor.

Sure you got the seals installed properly and didn't damage them reinstalling things...like cutting the sealing lip on the drive shaft spline? Leak water there before the rework? 2001 I guess has the bracket to hold the water pump outlet copper tube in place so stabbing that hose is no longer a problem. Get the seal back on the water pump outlet?
