lower unit oil color

lower unit oil was grey changed seals & water pump ran motor oil turned a yellow color, I'am using penzoil lower unit oil is this normal.

Does it look creamy like "coffee with cream"? Or is it a clear yellow?

it does not look like coffee with it is a clesr yellow

hottiger <br /><br />If it's clear, it's probably normal. When it mixes with water, it turns creamy.

What seals did you change? Maybe you didn't get all the old oil out?

I changed prop shaft seals, all "O" rings & seals I let the old oil drain for about four hours. When I drained the oil it was a solid yellow color.
